Dear Lynn & Gary,
On behalf of the Women's Center staff, volunteers, and most importantly, the thousands of adults and children we will be able to provide services to this year, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the very generous $10,000 contribution by the Pitch In for a Good Cause Foundation.
From Ron To all our GKR supporters: I would personally like to thank all those who bought shirts, attended events and helped raise money for our charities. It is unprecedented for a broadcasting trio to use their position as citizens to do for others. That being said our noblesse oblige would not be possible without the tireless work of Lynn Cohen and her volunteers. Moving forward I think we need to take a cue from what is going on around us and believe that from our small pulpit we can make a change. That we are going to do it while watching the Mets only makes it sweeter. We get to give thanks in a couple of weeks and as we ring in the new year let us, in these trying times, remember that we have only scratched the surface on those few that we will be fortunate enough to help. Your enthusiasm has generated much-needed help for our charities; invaluable in these difficult times. All the best to you and your families for a happy Thanksgiving! Gary

had gone to National League games in New York since the thirties but
that she wasn’t planning to go to any more games because she couldn’t
walk well enough. Lynn convinced me to try and bring her to her
fundraiser. I did and I will never regret it..."
